Sorry I'm muslim, and I really do respect Islam and am NOT falling for "islamophobia" but I totally AGREE with the man and so does my whole family and my extended family! The full hijab UP TO THE EYES is not required anywhere in the Quran! It DOES have a "scary" impression to people outside the culture which is a majority, and I know they should have the right but it is a little extreme and intimidating to most, so I think it really is important to respect the culture of Britain! @drpointov Too right. It is attracting more attention - obviously it will in another culture, and even studying Cultural Psychology, it is SO important to understand & respect other cultures. It is not taking away human rights, it is calling for people to be reasonable! The attire is creating more fearfulness & hatred - which exactly - is the opposite of its desired effect. Would you like it if British people went to Saudi, wearing bikinis and tshirts + shorts, saying "F off" to thier culture?

Whats up Monstamuch90? Yep, Im muslim too, and I fully agree with the opinion held by yourself and extended family.. its not a requirement, it scares me anyway, and it adds to alienation as far as I'm concerned.I personally think in foreign cultures, if anything it attracts more attention as opposed to less attention on the female. Kind of defeats the desired effect.
