A walk-around on a trough feeder I built for feeding protein to deer. The dimensions are: 5' wide (inside) by 19" deep (inside) by 6'6" tall (front) and 6' tall (rear). Top of trough is at 22".

I used the following materials/treated lumber: 7 - 2"x4"x8', 2 - 2"x8"x8', 3 - 1"x4"x8', 16 - 5/16"x4" galvanized bolts with flat washers, lock washer and nut, 2 - 2'x8' sheets of polycarbonate sheeting for the roof, a box of 2" roofing nails with rubber gaskets, 3" deck screws, box of 20 penny nails, and an old feeder barrel split down the middle with a saws-all.

This feeder cost roughly $140 to $150 to build, and took about 3-4 hours. The materials were readily available at the local home store.

I like the way this turned out, and will probably build more.
