Hey ya'll, this video is about one of the last things you can store up to eat, or when that hungry person shows up at your door step, this is what you can feed them.....It is a very full-filling food. It is one of the main staples in everyones diet....Hope yall enjoy this, I know it is kinda long, but I shortened it as much as I could....Take care&God Bless

1 cup corn meal
mix with
1 cup cold water
add to 3 cups gently boiling water stir while adding
also add 1 tsp salt
cook with lid on till thickened
stirring often

Then to fry
pour in bread pan and chill
then cut into slices and flour and fry till crisp

can tell me how i should dry my corn. i am trying field corn this year and really want to dry it and save it to grind my own.

@RedneckAngel98 Just leave it in the shuck and let it dry on the stock in the field, then pick it and shuck it and put it in a dry cool place, and do not shell it till you get ready to use it....

My Grandmother talks about making corn bread mush for her children when food got tight. She taught it to herself as she was put in a situation where she had not choice but to use common sense and trial and error.

I really envy your lifestyle, I'm here in Australia and I live in the suburbs, working hard for other people but getting no where. I would love a simpler life of working hard for myself and my family, truly enjoying the fruits of my efforts.
