iPhone Google Maps Embeddable View

A component that you can add to your iPhone application to access all basic features of Google Maps (similar to Android's MapView?). It uses a UIWebView in the background to load the HTML/Javascript version of Google Maps, and offers a set of Objective-C methods that mimic a subset of the original Javascript methods for controlling the map. It currently supports setting the center location, and zooming & panning using the touch interface. @naresh5432 The video is pretty old now, but I think it should still be usable with some tweaking. What you want to do is possible, but you'll have to download the code, implement the functionality you want in JS, then add Obj-C wrappers for it. If you look at the code you should be able to find several examples.

Is there a way to pass a keyword to search for in the map? For example to show near by restaurants.

Is this app able to access the markers that we set on google-map when accessing through our browsers?

The project is hosted at Google Code. You can checkout the source code using SVN. The instructions are there, under the "Source" tab.

I've also added a source archive on the downloads page, but I don't guarantee it being always up-to-date.
