"Roam" is a single from the 1989 album, "Cosmic Thing", by American New Wave band The B-52's. The album and single were released on Reprise Records. "Roam" peaked at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in January 1990. "Roam" was written by Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, Keith Strickland, Cindy Wilson and Robert Waldrop and was produced by Nile Rodgers and Don Was.

    B-52's were something else, entirely. Such a rare feat for a band to create their own sound and find a niche in the mainstream market as such. They've always done their own thing and that's what makes them awesome.

    I'm from this age of music and I much better like this music. All my friends tease me about it but I don't care. These people actually had to know how to sing. Now everyone's voices are edited to make them sound perfect. Ever here anyone from these days live? They sound horrible (except CeeLo Green <3). Most people watching this video would agree with me. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
