I am a Minister with over 30 years in the Ministry, and I was diagnosed Bi-polar about half way through it...I finally gave up my ordination because most Christians have the same attitude you do. There is a big difference between having a chemical imbalance and rolling on the floor in mass-hist aria. Mental illness is an illness a disease that can be passed on in generations just as heart disease is. You have no idea what Bi-polar is or what it dose to a person, or how it make us feel.
This is proof just how ignorant society is about Mental Illness. This guy isn't a doctor, and yet he's claiming to know everything about it. Whats even sadder is that this guy is claiming to be religious. Ever heard of doing some research before forming an opinion? Amazing how ignorant some you Americans are.
You have no idea what bipolar is. If you had a clue what bipolar you wouldn't make fun of it. I have to deal with suicidal thoughts almost everyday and anxiety attacks and for you to "assume" like you know what your talking about. I believe in God and I go to church and I live for Jesus, but for you to say most christians are bipolar is bull is the dumbest thing I've ever heard
I can testify pastor, I woke one night having an an anxiosity attack, the next day the doc gave me anti-depression pills that I took for about 7 months. I tried a tape program that had me do a relaxation visualization technique,(new-age garbage) The Lord spoke to my spirit and told me to stop listening to the devil and get a hold of my emotions. I started to realize that the devil had me in a blind fog for 7 months so I open the bible and read and prayed my way out to the Light of Jesus.
...Right. Because everyone knows that Religion is COMPLETELY SIDE EFFECT FREE... <yes, PLEASE take that sarcastically...
tho, i do support the idea that if you celebrate ANY true understanding of God, then you know you are "at church" everywhere you are - and every conversation you have is a conversation with some aspect of that manifestation of Divine Energy.
If you're not just an insane, stupid and intolerant person and many Americans are like you, then you all are a danger for the spirit of the Age of Enlightment! There is no such thing like god and if there is one, he's definitely not like you imagine!
Yes, get into the Word. Isaiah 52-55... Colosians 3, John 17, John 10. Getting away from the Word, we focus on the temperal that seems so real. "Walk by faith and not by sight" could also read as "Walk by reality and not by sight". We're called to walk in the Light as He is in the light". Staying in the word sparks prayer and communion with God and is that reality check. The more I'm into the Word and prayer, the more waves of reality hit and more awareness that God is in control

Religion is a mental disorder. Delusional Christians take the cure! It's called: logic and reason.
