Thanks for the feedback...it all really depends on the SIZE of choke you are cooking with. We've found in our testing that all the sizes require different length of time to cook....and therefore there really is no "one size fits all" cook time.

I did 15 minutes of boiling and it worked great. 30 minutes then grilling would have turned the artichokes into mush.

These AC, have been cut in half with the choke removed. Also, remember if you were paying attention that these AC, are getting a second cooking or go around in the heat, over a grill, so you don't and I repeat, don't want to over boil them, otherwise they are moosh when grilling and will fall apart on the grill. Pay attention next time.
