Lol, this is totally wrong. You want to render as a lossless/uncompressed AVI and then use an external program to encode it. You don't encode them twice... that just loses more quality.

@pancholoco17 if your'e using Sony Vegas, you do not need additional programs to have h.264 video. The video this guy renders with Vegas is already in h.264 (that's what "Sony AVC" does). No idea why he is recoding it with additional h.264 encoder...

instead of getting the h264 encoder wouldnt it be easier to get the H264 codec for example if using after effects..... if so do you know how to get it?!?!?! :)

is the h264 encoder better than xvid?? especially for cartoons or anime?
Why the need for the last step re-encoding with h264 if sony vegas already did that?
