one of the most important outcomes of iranian revolution and it's hijacking by the islamists is that it revealed the true face of islam when given power.
no other way as far as i can think could have done this service.
what is sad is the price paid!!!

What now? The vast majority of Iranians hate the Islamic regime deep in heart. They regret the revolution.

@ReneODeay Were you around back then? EVERYONE was talking about Iran, the Iranian Revolution basically altered forever Western relations with the Middle East. There's something called BOOKS, read them.

Shook the world? Nah, maybe your world. The revolution that shook the world was the American Revolution in 1776. In the last century it was the Russian Revolution in 1917.
the Iranian revolution, which one? the 1979? well, it may have shook the Middle East, but obviously not the rest of the world since we know so little about it. at least until last year.
Good job Ali Reza once more.

@AndrewMann552 oh, I was around, probably not in your universe. nothing like puffing up the importance of the belittling revolution foisted on that country.
You read them, obviously you need to.
I had friends who disappeared, never to be heard of again, from Iran. so don't try to patronize me.
