  • hee hee hee, how funny these conjoined, abused twins are!

  • God this is just awful. Amanda Palmer is a self-confessed attention whore of unlimited potential, but even for her this is just eye-rollingly dumb.

I'm not offended, if there was some funny here there would be at least SOMETHING entertaining. This is just dumb dumb dumb.

Like the Dresden Dolls, too. Wish she'd go back to not sucking.

  • see, when i listened to the album somewhat ignorantly, i was fine. but as much as i like the album, thinking about the actual concepts they're discussing and seeing this video just seems so cruel to me in an inexplicable way. especially with everyone laughing. i like the songs and the voices, but acting the part actually may be too much. they could just simply recount the story as narrators instead of as the characters.

  • Now this is a HUGE slice of fuckery pie... I want to throw things.

  • The worst part of it all - aside from even exploiting the suffering of the disabled - is that Amanda was an attention whore LONG before she was a shitty musician (which is what she is). And this is just more of the same.

I guess as long as there are emotionally needy teenagers in the world, shameless idiots like Palmer will always have an audience. May she someday wake up and see herself for what she is.

And then vomit like the rest of us.

  • I hate to sound like a douche, but some people arent 'getting' it. They're feigning a first performance of a band, which is always nervous and shitty. Look at them now :)

  • hahahha, isn't the functional equivalent of black face SO HILARIOUS. OMG, exploiting oppressions that you don't suffer to promote your own privileged self is GREAT. and arent disabled people tragic and heroic and just so gosh darn funny to look at? yaaaay AFP, you really outdid yourself in sucking.

  • @chdbtlrc uh, yeah, I did know that. But the album is ABOUT two characters who are conjoined twins, do you see? If they actually were conjoined twins they couldn't be accused of mocking them. Maybe try a little reading comprehension next time before going to the condescending place.

  • @discord20 you do know that it's just Amanda and Jason, right? Research is awesome.

  • For those offended, listen to the entire album. It has a pretty dark vibe, with some humour in there, but its not meant to be mocking of disabled people. Conjoined twins open up a lot of questions about life and identity, and these artists honestly are using that for its metaphoric value. Its not just a cheap laugh at people with different bodies

  • @StellaOmega

good job, you're butt hurt about art. how's it feel to get so aggro so easily?
