  • I work as a volunteer at International Bird Rescue Research Center in Fairfield, California. We are also headquarters for the Oiled Wildlife Care Network. Our specialty is sea birds: grebes, ducks, loons, murres, herons, etc. I very much like your video and appreciate the work you do! Five Stars!

  • Thanks for your kind comments. Congratulations on the important work you do as well. We are in the middle of a brown pelican rescue in Southern Maryland. They did not migrate once again and are in serious trouble. The brown pelican is such a lovely, sweet, and affectionate bird. I wish more people were able to experience wildlife up close.

  • Yes, these Brown Pelicans are in serious trouble. They don't do well in the cold. We get quite a few of those which don't migrate on time. They are cold and hungry. If you look at my YT site, you will see a couple of videos that show our pelican aviary. We have an occasional white peli, but mostly we have the brown pelis.
