Yes, these Brown Pelicans are in serious trouble. They don't do well in the cold. We get quite a few of those which don't migrate on time. They are cold and hungry. If you look at my YT site, you will see a couple of videos that show our pelican aviary. We have an occasional white peli, but mostly we have the brown pelis.

I work as a volunteer at International Bird Rescue Research Center in Fairfield, California. We are also headquarters for the Oiled Wildlife Care Network. Our specialty is sea birds: grebes, ducks, loons, murres, herons, etc. I very much like your video and appreciate the work you do! Five Stars!

Thanks for your kind comments. Congratulations on the important work you do as well. We are in the middle of a brown pelican rescue in Southern Maryland. They did not migrate once again and are in serious trouble. The brown pelican is such a lovely, sweet, and affectionate bird. I wish more people were able to experience wildlife up close.
