This is all true, sadly though, there is very little that can be done about it, just to even get into any kind of office you have to have connections to gangsters and old-money, or embezzle some desperate constituents. Of course none of this would be the case if the American voter took the electorial process serioussly, alas, the majority of people are some breed of domesticated animal who just go to work for a pittence and then drown their worthlessness in alcohol, sugar, and the idiot box.
