I like your right-hand technique. Using thumb and index finger? Seems like a rather impractical technique, in terms of muting the other strings and getting good speed. But who am I to say what you should do? If it feels good for you, STICK WITH IT! You'll never be able to play any instrument well if you can't feel comfortable with it.

this is not really a groove, more like a repeating couple of riffs. a groove would be a foundation for a piece of music. your technique is'nt that good either, you can even tell that by you fret-sound, intonation and timing. And your not damping properly.
