the last lost city was filmed in detroit, mi on 12.21.08. intention was to capture site-specific areas unique to detroit. the film shot is untouched i.e., no procurement of scenes to capture the real detroit, in my opinion america's last lost city.

What's industry do we have left that can use this location, it's people, and the infrastructure? If GM (or the BIG THREE) built/destroyed it, than what industry or innovation exists out there that is picking up the pieces? Many cities that were once in peril reinvented themselves.. GM destroyed the rail transportation (especially the street cars/LRV), and they are now reappearing and breathing life into once devastated towns... Just a thought here, it appears we've lost our ways..
