as you can see this is my sled in a field, exhaust broke so it won't run with the hood on (chokes out). '76 440 TNT

UPDATE TO THE OLDSCHOOL FANS! My crappy old sled died on me not long after the video was shot. It ended up melting a piston, not really sure why, but was a very sad day for her.

But good news, today I go pick up a 73 433 Yamaha for free, well not free, gotta trade ad old t.v. for it. will post vid of it soon. :)

  • hwy you still have the sled around? id buy it off you. your in st marys right?

  • not this one, have a 73 yamaha for sale, check my vids

  • I have a question. was it the cylinder closest to the fan that overheated and melted?

  • Hey, sorry I don't really remember which one it was.

  • i think it runs pretty good to say it has no exhaust connected, the belt is too big so it is only hitting low gear, and running on an old set of car plugs and wires. not to mention i origionally got this sled for a 6 pack of beer.

  • crappy? it gets you from point A to B doesnt it?, it still drives wierd

  • i had a 440 Everest once it was pretty good till it started running on one cylinder. we kept fixing it but there was no point we just chucked the old thing and used the working parts for a go cart. then i got a ski-doo 670 rotax twin. its awsome for jumps and water cross

  • Im not a professional but maybe your sled quit because you didnt have a muffler. back pressure changes when you aint got one, nice sled btw.

  • lol!!

  • haha i got a better deal a running 1977 Ski-Doo TNT 440 and a running Yamaha enticer for a 24 of pilsner (Cans)

  • Haha she's runnin' pretty good despite what I've read in the comments whats wrong with it.

\m/ Take the baffles out of the pipe before you do anymore cosmetic changes to it.
