What is unsafe about this?There are lifting lugs on most excavators right behind the boom foot pins for this exact purpose.

i like that (it's only unsafe if you hurt someone!) that's gold lol
to load a ship fully 32,000-35,000 ton's of log's take's 46 to 55 hour's depending on the length of the log's and how wet it is

I am planning to ship something bigger than that oversea. Are they using the same technique to load the machine on board? How much does it cost to ship it?

this loading of the excavator on to this ship was temperary ,and was only to stow log's onto the hold of the ship to optermise the load on the ship
