  • Nice sleeveless shirt. And heck yeah, I would have climbed that tree. Hate to think how much they overcharged that homeowner for the use of two cranes when exactly zero were needed.

  • Obviously you didnt see the base. It was not safe to climb.

  • Definately should of been on tha' bottom side of that cut that almost hit him..but it's pretty hard when ya' not using your lanyard for balance and weight..n security...obviously ya' don't have to know how to climb trees when you own two cranes.

  • would you have climbed that tree rc?

  • At 1:42 the faller almost got his face taken off, even if it were a camera angle that looked more serious than it was, he chucked his hot saw for a reason.

You can brag about how dangerous the work is, but there is no glamour in stupidity.

Like I said the correct way is to make your kerf toward the crane, leave a bit of slack in the crane line, then make your back cut. When the crane takes the weight of the lumber, then climb down to a safe distance.

BTW: I know an excellent W.C. lawyer.

  • At 1:42 I did a cut as you said(an overlap/snap/K cut...depending on where you are from)with the finish cut on the unweighted side of the tree.Notice it was heavy on one side. It went past and in front of me. I could have been in a better position no doubt. As for dropping the "hot saw", I think you are imagining things. It remains in my left hand after the cut and after I move out of the way. I never "chuck my saw"

  • that was a job well done,, these guys know how to use a crane.. tired of hearing people say they would climb unsafe trees, dont last long in this biz thinking like that..crane jobs are awesome

  • I am an ISA certified arborist and own my own 23 ton crane and do my own climbing. Nice job on this tree and good call on the 2nd crane for a safe rope rigging point. I personally like to cut eye level and step down so I'm below the final cut but good job guys.

  • Nice smooth cuts with no shock loads.

  • What did that cost $5000 for one tree.

  • It must be nice to great tools for any job, I would give both of my kids for 1 crane ... LoL cant do that to any body..

  • im not going to bust your balls mark, the fact that you probably own both those cranes should be enough to justify using them. i still prefer the knuckle though

    cheers mate

  • I cut trees for a living, but thiese guys are the Shiznit.....cooool

  • nice tree work

  • ur bitching about dude doing a job that makes some money!~ 2 cranes? what about 100 cranes for a 30' sweetgum that cant reach the shit house? thats where our tax dollars are going everyday, all day! maybe u got a gov't job with 100 cranes that allmarktree pays the tab for everyday, all day, whiteyford? people that claim whiteyford and spit yugo out their mouth make me fuckin sick
