@MateusFolletto a modification just means that the game cant run alone, it needs the game its modded from. and even css was released before hl2, so how can it be a mod? xD

@TheHyooman wth you talking about? game is in development for 5 years now, so it should be finished soon enough for everyone to enjoy XD ppl making a big deal out of 5 years but almost every good or great game takes at least 5 years of development before release. Just watch Elder Scrolls V or most of the Big Zelda Games and look at the games coming out this year like Diablo 3 and Max Payne 3. Sure have been a long gap for those sequels. There is no need to worry about 5 years...

@ProCounterStriker Lost coast was a not a mod, or a test. It was a tech demo showcasing HDR (high dynamic range) lighting on the source engine.

lost coast is a test on half life 2, it was made for people to know if it is good or bad, well if it was bad, valve would made differences to hl2, in all the game rules

By the way, can't wait for the Borealis in Half-Life 2: Episode 3; who knows, maybe we'll see some nice little ties to GLaDOS and Chell. But Half-Life 3 is unpredictable for me at the moment.
