I'm probably the only one that noticed this, but........seat belts in a 1970 commercial? I didn't even think they started advocating seatbelt usage in commercials until the late-1970's or early-1980's. Unfortunately, this probably didn't increase seat belt use in any of its viewers.
Seat belts have been in cars since at least '65. There's a seat-belt PSA from 1972 on here that aired on the very first The (New) Price Is Right.

I believe 'Jimmy's' shirt reads orange 55...
You'd think it would have said 66? As in Phillips 66? Naw... The name stuck because of the companies beginnings near route 66...
