@irishmermaid4 we all have our own opinions, but that is a bit selfish. get all the marine aquariums shut down,set all the orcas free so they can live happily forever?its not so simple.Most of the captive orca are captive born. They have no natural immunity which allows orca to survive in the wild. They don't know how to hunt. Lone females like Tokitae won't be accepted by pods.The orcas get good care,are not in anyway being treated badly.If they were unhappy, sure deaths would be more frequent?

In my opinion, Sea World should be charged with animal cruelty with mitigating circumstances, shut down, then charged into oblivion with voluntary manslaughter in the death of Dawn...It is against nature to put a powerful predator into a glorified toilet bowl, and drive it insane for money. None of the captive Orcas lived a full life span in this aquatic petrie dish. Watch the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, or take a whale watch tour in their natural habitat. Stop supporting this madness!
