In this video I show a number of uses for a sit box with competition obedience. For more information please see my blog www.roottrainingblog.com The video is staring my 10 month old American Water Spaniel Rizzo. Once you have taught your dog to sit on a box lots of training becomes very easy for you & your dog!

  • Our instructor uses something similar--a "front box" made of schedule 40 pvc-- like a u-shaped frame with little legs at the front right angles. However I like this too!

  • Very interesting !

So you start by shaping a sit on the box ?

And then you can use the "sit on the box" for fronts and other commands ?

I need to try this for straight fronts !

    Thanks.

  • Awesome, helpful video. Thank you for posting!
