  • Michael, Government does not belong in the marriage racket at all. What ever happened to government's ONLY reason to exist is to protect my Inalienable rights?

Another comment: How do we nullify the actions of our States? The state Construction of Missouri scares me. It must be 50 times longer than the federal Constitution and no one knows what is in it.

  • @NationOfHodge and my point was that we are not a free country if we are taxed. we are controlled as a result.

  • @NationOfHodge I know they have been given the power, but that does not make it the right thing to do. The power to tax the individual is the power to destroy the individual. This nation was built without an individual income tax, it was only created to ensure political power by dividing us into classes.

  • IMO, Unless the people say(vote) that two people of the same sex can not be together, the Government be it either state or federal, has no power to tell them they cant. But yet the derive power out of thin air, so they do. The people have the ultimate power over the Federal Government, and everyone is waking up to that fact!

  • @HHODork Congress unquestionably has the power to tax - READ THE CONSTITUTION SOME TIME.

  • the definition of marriage does not have to be expressly laid out into the constitution for it to exist. woman's right to vote or blacks equal treatment was and is not specifically written as it is but it does and still exist anyways just like marriage between a man and a woman even if its interpreted differently by federal judges.

  • Marriage is an institution of reproduction. The kingdom of god, widgets essentially, are reproduced: Morally ambiguos. gays can't reproduce. Not stopping their love or living together or honoring/ obeying, just the codification of marriage signifying reproductinve capacity. Misreading of the issue by gay media. Marriage in general is bs. Wanting something because you can't have it; growing pains. Irony; if people know they reproduce the kingdom of god, reproduction stops, reg marriage stops.

  • The idea of a marriage license for anyone shows the government is not protecting my rights. I can enter into an arrangement with any other willing person or group of people if I want. The government takes that right and turns it into a privilege. Look at home ownership. 1000s of older people are forced to sell their homes that they own only because they cant afford the taxes forced on them. People should not pay taxes to anyone if they are free. Tax should come from industry not people!

  • Well from the Wilson Admin on we have lost property rights, the right to keep and bare arms, the right to move freely without permission the right to associate and gather where we wish. The list goes on. They tax us for everything we do, they force us into license for anything we want to do. they turn rights into privileges.

They force us to pay rent for ownership of our own property with taxes they don't need and we cant afford. They have forced into a debt system with a central bank.

  • How is the government not protecting your rights?
