actually I drive my car like i stole it. I'm on the throttle all the time and i get 20-24 mpg. That's average after racing anyone and anything that wants some. including on ramps. you can get 33 mpg -36 going 55 mph in 6th gear. you get about 28-30 going 80. The thing is a gas sipper if you drive it responsibly.
Yeah but the thing is stock for stock, the new cobalt SS shits all over the Civic Si in performance. I still prefer the Civic though for its better reliability, economy, and NA engine.
Honda civics have gotten 33-39 highway and it is not too absurd to believe 33 out of a vette if it is driven correctly. The 505 horsepower Z06 gets an EPA 26 MPG highway.

@ zac41189 - 300 mile rountrip commute for me to go to work. 32 MPG every time...
