Gideon bibles are King James Version. But I worship Christ, not the book...I personally prefer the New King James, second prize going to NIV. For a quote,though,nothing beats the beauty of that antiquated romanice language of the KJV.

Jesus is the Word in the flesh. God curses any adding or taking away from the Word. Seriously you should really look again into the matter if you love Christ. The NKJV & NIV are TERRIBLE versions. Many verses are removed and changed. Anyway, just a factoid King James English is not antiquated or romantic. It is technically Modern, NOT old English. The KJV is the book that actually standardized Modern English and helped make it a World Language. And, not all Gideon Bibles are King James.
