Met Robert Conti in the mid-Eighties playing a solo gig in a fine restaurant in RI. He knocked me out. His solo jazz standards were sublime. He plays bebop like crazy, but I love his lyrical melodic solo playing. I had to tear myself away. He is the real deal. Bravo, Mr. Conti!
