  • well sureyourscene, I have bought quite a few audio cds I find some hard too but it is getting slightly easier for me although it has taken me a while, at the moment I am doing a slightly harder one from bbc talk italian 2 which has helped me alot, I also reccomend the liguaphone ones, I got them free the paper they are suprisingley good so have a look on ebay.

  • I think every resource can be used well, but I also believe that nothing can replace a good teacher. Of course, the teacher should be skilled and patient.

  • I know livemocha very well, as a free resource is very nice, still there are many mistakes in the exercises, also you don't interact much.

  • I agree. I've been using Livemocha for a couple of weeks now; as an introduction to the language it's a good tool, but it's too basic and there are no grammar explanations at all. Also, in my native language(Spanish) I've seen multiple mistakes, so I can only assume the same happens in other languages. I like the fact I get to know native speakers and chat with them though.

  • è il miglior video che ho trovato sulla rete che spiega bene la nostra lingua abbastanza complicata...

  • I agree, sometimes you can mistake one language for the other and go wrong!

  • ciao means both hello and good bye

  • it really depends on what interests you in a lnaguage, I suggest you to read a little bit about the culture, watch some Italian movies etc. to understand if you like the culture and are inspired to learn more...
