when my job stresses me out (too many old people - i guess you can imagine how working with the living dead 'drains your creative energy'!!), i find i draw inspiration and energy from the music of mozart and beethoven. mozart because his music is so organised, no loose ends, everything is resolved. i love it. beethoven because his music is full of the spirit of man to rise from humble earthbound origins to the stars.

Sounds like a great way to deal with stress. I've always found too that Mozart is great to listen to in times of extreme creative lows. Thanks!

If I'm stressed out I like to read a funny book or watch something funny like Scary Movie etc. Then I chill out and think, life's too short. No, I can't imagine you without a spine!

I make music and am a martal artist, there can be many different ways to be inspired when making music that can even change from day to day, recently I've been writing down my dreams and trying to incoerperate them into my music through instrumentation, lyrics, landscapes and moods.

Eventually I want to make really bad martal arts films, with out of sinc dubbing, cheesy lines and cleche story boards, wierd music and sound effects, and scenes that jump without any logical explanation. lol.

what a lovely accent!it's cute listening to you, i quit my job that i was unhappy with, cause like yourself being creative, & using that energy is very important to me. haha i occasionally have momments of black out as well,but what really inspires me to be creative, & do what i love, is understanding & realizing how much i hate what i was doing (in my case my meaningless job)& instead of complaining about the situation, i think of what really makes me happy...n then i just do it =)
