these sharks are dangerous, lookup the vid where the guy is standing around them in 3 feet of water and his entire calf muscle is bitten off, unprovoked. stay away. dont listen to these people when they say its ok as long as you respect them, wrong, they will attack for no reason.

nope, sorry would catch me going in there with those tanks with teeth, just remind me of a shortened down version of mr whitey, the girth on those beasts is very decieving on film.. they realy are an awesome looking shark though.

I don't subscribe to your psuedo-scientific groupthink. As for your misplaced tone of disapprobation, back it up with sociobiological analysis. If you would care to get it the water and discuss the merits of shark behavior, please do. Sharks eat people and always have. It is a scientific fact.

while spearfishing in nsw, me and my friend managed to spear our first kingfish, once i got out of the water i saw a massive dorsal fin just 2 metres behind me from the shore. me and my mate thought it was a big bull.

both of you stop the raving antics, they are uncalled for. try posting some constructive comments.

Small mistake by the lady that got interviewed. The shark that is responsible for most peoples' death is the Oceanic Whitetip Shark. It has scavenged amongst mariners during the 1st. and 2nd WW by the hundreds. Unfortuantely the numbers are not officially recorded...+

In my estimation, the most dangerous shark is one that has just returned to shore from one of the long migrations that we do not fully understand. As for the shark's predatory motives? I think we know. That part is not wanting.
I was Raised and Surfed in South Africa and myself and all my mates had a very Large Fear of Zambezi"s/Bull Sharks. Someone once said that a Zambezi Shark has more Testostorone coursing through its veins when it is CALM than a charging Bull Elephant.

Bullsharks normally like warmer water, unlike Great Whites. The only shark I ever saw was a bullshark while diving off Palm Beach at 80 ft. last winter. It was beautiful, passing slowly from left to right and it ignored us completely. Diving is cool but I don´t fancy snorkling or swimming with Bullsharks...
