Art for all not just for the sighted.Perhaps you've read a book recently? Perhaps you picked up a newspaper and got the sports headlines, or went on-line and surfed some travel sites to book an holiday? Your local news-stand easily has a hundred newspapers and magazines for you to enjoy. If you have web access, you have billions of sites available for you to benefit. Perhaps you went to a museum or an art gallery to see some art and history. You learned enjoyed and had a great time. Unless, of course, you're blind, when accessing printed or painted, net resources or visual art suddenly becomes a very different proposition for you.
Touching works of art however, is strictly prohibited at museums and galleries. Move in closer to any painting or sculpture to take a closer look and you will instantly arouse the attention of the gallery attendant, who will request that you move away and do not touch it.
Services for the blind or visually impaired visitors are extremely limited at most museums and art galleries. Some museums provide special verbal descriptive tours or offer assisted listening devices for the visually impaired, but touching works of art is not part of these programs.

How can they experience the visual arts? How can they enjoy life the way sighted people do?And how could we describe colours to blind people? Would it be enough to say Ice for Blue.,cotton for White...,sticky cotton candy for Pink.. soft petals or pricking thorns of rose for Red..,freshly cut grass for Green.,the warmth of the sun for Yellow.. Or can we do more?
If vision is our main source of sensory information. My art works will be an exercise in producing art for all not only for the sighted.
