Incredibly similar to the 'Made by Hand' video series on the Porsche 356. The cars changed, but the basic assembly process and structure are surprisingly close.

That's what I wanted to see when I visited the Porsche factory back in 1986. Alas it wasn't to be. I've never seen this video before. I didn't even know it existed. Thank you for sharing!

Amazing to see this. These methods would be considered arcane and barbian by today's modern mass production methods.
