i really enjoyed this short film b/c of the emotions -- even vestiges of some -- that it invoked. thank you for creating it. i felt as if the girl had already drowned and was living her afterlife underwater. the final shot seemes to confirm this. ethereal and very well done.

Dare I mention the visual association with sausage? As in Freudian? No one else did, so I won’t.
Almost but not quite succeeding in getting the candle to stay lit. So returning to the eternal sleep.

Brushing swirling hair; very sensual. Brushing teeth; the antithesis of sensuality, necessary for personal hygiene, but somehow distasteful.
Ideal choice of garment. White color symbolic of purity & immaculateness. Empire waist dresses hearken back to Jane Austen / Charlotte Bronte era. Modestly flatters the female form. Alluring but not salacious.

Actually, it's plant refuse. This video was shot on Black Saturday during the bushfires, and the wind blew a lot of refuse into the water.
