@TheApocalypticNG I've never played any of the Silent Hill games (I wish I could!) but I have watched the movie a lot. I'm just guessing since it's what I thought the ending was about, but I think when they first entered Silent Hill that was when they were cursed to forever stay in that "Time Period" or "World". That's why Rose's husband never "found" her or Alessa.
Hoped this helped somehow. :)
