  • Just remembered about this film the other day. It's really an extraordinary movie and worth renting. Check out other YouTube interviews and trailers to get a sense of this great film. Sorry O'Toole didn't get Oscar for this performance. What more does he have to Do, for pete's sake? !

  • dats my dad so ye

  • May Peter win an Oscar for his exemplary work in "Venus"! He is a a golden talent, a silver-tongued treasure of a man. I loved the whole cast, but Peter O'Toole is sheer poetry. Time for him to win an Oscar based on his richly deserving WORK, not on lifetime achievement. "Venus" is a captivating, touching, edgy but warm film, though at times its cinematography plays harshly with O'Toole's frailty. His LION self is a bit diminished by it. But a great film.
