Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy told how they all went out partying and drinking heavily the night before this scene was filmed so that they could look aged!! That must have been quite a night!

I love the fact that in real life, long after Jane had passed away, Tom LeFroy learned of Jane's "rejection letter" from a publishing firm for her Pride and Prejudice work was to be auctioned off, and he bought it. I think he delighted in the fact that she was SO talented and honored her work in this way. A real love story.

God I remember when I watched this movie.It was so neglected but I watched it because I love Anne Hathaway.I remember crying like hell after I watched this scene ^-^ Now I am older and it is still, in my opinion, one of the best love stories ever ^-^ <3
