In these times of budget cuts and layoffs, we as teachers could use a reminder that we are called according to a grand purpose and therefore supplied all we need. The intent of this prayer is to remind us there is no need to worry about our supply. Take a deep breath and relax. Enjoy the words, the photos, and the music. Enjoy the gift of who you are. Be inspired! Be passionate! Be you!

Lilies of the Field, Birds of the Air, and My Classroom Supply: An Affirmative Prayer for Teachers

I know that life is Good and prosperous. There is no reason to worry about lack and limitation in my life or classroom. As I look at the birds of the air, I see they are fed by the heavenly Father. The lilies grow and the grass of the field is clothed. Are not our students more important?

Abundance flows around me, through me, in me, and as me. As I seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, I have more than needed through the Source of Good in my personal and professional lives. Since all my needs and desires are met through this Source of the all Good of Life, it makes complete sense that I have no need or unfulfilled desires.

Because Life is Good and Life is me, all I need for my classroom and students is instantly and continuously supplied. Consequently, the qualities of prosperity and abundance are expressed through me as I graciously use my natural gifts as a teacher.

As I accept this prosperity of Good into my life right now, I am abundantly thankful with an open and giving heart.

As I become aware of any beliefs, ideas, and perceptions of scarcity and lack, I instantly reject and release them. I know the Truth that ALL Good comes to those who believe, faithfully acting according to their purposes. Knowing my life purpose as a teacher, I declare the Truth of natural abundance and prosperity and allow it to flow to me and through me for the advantage of my students, community, and the world around me.
