4:24 if that was a no rules fight, the guy would have gotten his arm broken easily. you can never let your arms fully open, though that was a good match overall.

theres nothing against breaking limbs in mma rules, he could of armbarred him , but it's quite possible henderson was using it as a bait to escape mount and rua thought he had a better chance with the choke as they were both slippery with sweat

@MrGetthefuckup a punch couldve broken his arm, but i understand where you're coming from. the tension is high and they cant analyse the fight. but still, thats something that should be avoided at all costs. i seriosly lost count of how many times i got scolded by my sensei for this mistake, so it really bothers me when i see it.

@prebirth91 i went to a class once, but didnt enjoy it.i totally respect what you belive to be right,dont think i dont,but im SURE that was a risky situation for him to be.of course,he had to leave the position he was,but im not so sure that was the best option. i dont go around saying im the best or whatever, i actually suck HARD at fighting (white belt). i totally respect mma despite it not being my favorite style, i just dont THINK he done the right thing. hes an awesome fighter tho

@prebirth91 well, i dont know or practice mma, but i know that there where a couple of scenarios (any punch would do it) where the guy could've capitalized because of that situation. again, thats not LIKELY to happen, but we can never disconsider any probability in a fight, especially when it involves professional fighters such as these. just my $ 0.02.

@fcuk4220 all im saying is that he shouldnt have completely opened his arm. a mere punch could've broken it. of course, as i said earlier, its hard for that to happen due to the tension of a fight, but its something thats gotta be worked. i know a handful of people who could capitalize a fight due to such mistake, but i respect what mma practitioners belive to be the right procedure

@papeldobrado righto bucko. it's not as easy as snapping on an armbar. you have to turn your hips first and as hendo was already up on his side that movement could have given him the space for an escape.
