In the movie, Clint Eastwood plays a gunslinging drifter named Hogan. While Shirley MacLaine plays as Sara. Sara was thought to be a nun, but she's really a prostitute posing as a nun. She gives hints when she smokes Hogan's cigars and downs his whiskey.
Its interesting to note that the recent "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" plays the theme during one of the scenes of that movie.
