A VERY fine instrument indeed. And Tony is one that can put it to full use.

It seems like in the Video that the frets are skewed? Is this a problem with the video or is it in the design of the Guitar to optimize it for DADGAD tuning?
scawa1952 1 year ago
@scawa1952 yes...the frets are "fanned". the guitar is built on multiple scale lengths to best accommodate the altered tunings Tony uses.

wow.... the guitars that you make are absolutely amazing. i don't think i've ever heard such a pure and moving sound come from any instrument. keep up the great work. maybe one day i'll be able to afford one too!

It's a great sounding guitar! Of course, having Tony playing it doesn't hurt one little bit. He is the genius of Scottish guitar. But no reverb added!? That's amazing. You must have a most reverberous shop! And what microphone is it? Is that a Neumann or what? Great all around.

@Artzner Correction....i was initially told that there was no reverb added but have since been informed by Tom at Flico Media that he did, in the end, add a very small amount of reverb for better stereo imaging. sorry if there was any confusion.
