First Drive - '87 RX7 Turbo II Project

Rtek7 Stg 2.1 ECU, 4 x 7200cc, 255lph Walbro, BNR Stg 1 Hybrid Turbo w/30mm WG, RB Downpipe w/ Straight 3" pipe to N1 Styled Cans, Stg 2 Clutch, KYB AGX's, NGK A/Fx Wideband, etc....emissions removed.

This is just a test drive, there is still a lot to do to it before it's really streetable as a daily driver.

That's the old ring and pinion in the rear differential. It has since been replaced with new LSD, the trans was also replaced with new unit. i need some new vids.

lol, this was a shot diff and worn trans, both have been replaced with rebuilt units. Sounds much nicer now.

Yup same guy, most of these vids are in my threads on the club, but the car has really come a long way and I need a current video.

I still laugh at my stall, this was just the beginning.....it's all good though, funny but good.

Did you have the engine street ported or is this stock ports? do you have a write up/ posting of everything you did to this car?

Well, im glad to hear you were learning how-to because there are alot of stubborn people who won't dare go near it. I personally have much more fun driving my stang than my sisters stang for the main reason that she has an auto. I would like to see some new vids man, i would definately watch em if they were in-cars like this one..

your right on, this was the first time the car was driving since I owned it, had a new Stg 2 clutch and heavy duty pressure plate, new short shift kit felt weird and I was just learning how to drive stick to boot. lol This was first time out of the driveway and yup I stalled it....

true it didnt seem like he knew what he was doing a couple times... but the first time I drove my stang I wasnt sure which gear I was in :) maybe hes learning how to drive stick..
