Warning: Some strong language!

I did make it through this hole, but my friend turned the camera off because he couldn't handle the black flies.

  • pathetic...

  • I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I'd also like to invite you to attempt the same mud hole I went through. I made it through, a Can-AM and a KingQuad can't say the same.

  • I gotta ask, how did it run after that? Any other problems? My '08 has 420 miles and already replaced the front brakes and the rear left axle (completely my fault, had a vine wrapped around it). The brake problem seemed a bit too soon, as I hardly ever use the front. Any comments?

  • I haven't had any major issues. It cleared up after that fine. I've had to replace the brakes as well, (about the same milage as yours) so I went with heavy duty pads. The rotor guards behind the rear rotors are shot; the right one actually caught fire from being pushed up against the rotor. Keep an eye on those.

  • That first run at such a high speed certainly got water in the intake. Even though it is mounted high, it does get in there. Yours certainly sounded like it took a few gulps.

  • Heh, you're probably right. It was still fun though!

  • Listen, Sand dunes are a waste of an ATV. Flying around on sand may be fun for kids, but the mud is where Men are made.

  • i think the problem that was happening was steam, had that happen only once on my 700

  • hey just wanted to let you know i had the same problem with my 09 550 grizzly stalling and then one day i was out on the trail it stalled i tried to start it again and it wouldnt start i had to be towed back by a rhino hahaha but come to find out the spark plug was bad we changed it out and now she runs like a beaut :D

  • Turn your idle up a bit so it doesn't stall that easy.

  • Wish I could accept. But where I am, we have Sand dunes to deal with. Anyway, what I was getting at is that in my opinion, tackling Mud holes is a waste of an ATV. I'd go for Sand dunes any day (or a similar formation wherever it is you live).

  • water presure against the exaust

  • why was it turning off?

  • your so lucky you didn't floud the motor
