Cali : Dems' proposed budget violates 14th amendment - January 31, 2009, 10:25 PM

The state is bankrupt in February, regardless of whether or not a budget passes. IOUs will be issued in lieu of state tax refunds. Over the past week, I have met up with a LOT of conservative bloggers, activists, and RNC members about this. It took a while, but last night I sent a fax to every state senator and assemblyman. (I *heart* unlimited calling plans. :twisted: ). I wrote to each of them that this was a mess they created and they must fix. No federal bailout money, no punishing the taxpayer. Stop paying into welfare funds for illegals, stop funneling money to unions.

I know this is a pain - I know we're all tired and upset - but we've got to do something, cause this is out of control. We're about to be taxed for everything under the sun if the Dems can get away with it. This is, until the California division of the RNC forms under Micheal Steele, the best way to speak up.

Mary - Enjoy your spunk! Looks like president oblama got his 3.5 trillion dollar budget. I'm not sure if everyone realizes how much interest we will be paying for this boondoggle, so I'll be the first to say,,,We are wasting over $2,800 per second, for the privilege to have mr oblama's budget, or, over $100,000,000,000 a year. Hell, we might as well put all this money in a pile and burn it, for all the good it'll do us.

Dems sneaking taxes thru is their forte. Fees and tool are a less obvious way of doing so. It is good that they were smoked out.
