  • add dllhost.exe to the list and fable

  • @SkinsNaomily Ahh, what you have to do is when you go onto the window where you can add stuff to the list, you type in:

    dllhost.exe

After you type that, click Open, and it should have COM Surrogate in the tick box area.

  • @CFRMTB but that's the problem, i don't seem to have COM Surrogate in that list, is it something i can dowload? or is it already on my pc and do i just have to select it, and if yes, where is it? i'm so sorry for bugging you with this, but i'm really hopeless on the computer and i really want to play the game lol

  • @SkinsNaomily Ah, I think that you have to keep the Fable.exe and Setup Launcher ticked, but untick just the COM Surrogate one :)

  • @CFRMTB Thanks for all your help!

    But is still doesn't work,

first of all in your video when you click on data execution prevention, i saw that age of empires was already in the screen along with Com surrogate, i don't have that? mine is just blank and i have to fill it up myself, so now i've got (my problem is not with age of empires, but with Fable) Fable.exe, Setup Launcher, and autorun.exe selected and i untiched the boxes, but it still doesn't work, am i doing something wrong?

  • @SkinsNaomily COM Surrogate stops files from executing on your computer, how you fix it is: -Right click Computer -Go on Properties -Advanced system settings -Advanced -Under Performance, click Settings -Data Execution Prevention -Untick the boxes next to the relevant game(s) That should work, sorry about the video being unclear :/ Best of luck. Message me if you get any more problems. CFRMTB :)
  • what is COM surrogate? and where do i find it?
