I think Virginia Tech should have been a lesson for us all. If students and staff are allowed to defend themselves, then a massacre like in 2007 can be stopped in it's tracks. I hope it passes, all law abiding American citizens should be allowed to carry and defend themselves at all times.

Finally someone is trying to get it correct. We need to get rid of "gun free" areas if you want to cut down on the killing on campus the nuts should know that maybe everyone is armed.

Just think - the Columbine incident could have been avoided if law abiding people on campus had guns.

Not only do they need to pass this bill to allow CCW holders to carry on campuses but also a bill that allows them to carry ANYWHERE. A sign on the door that says "NO FIREARMS ALLOWED ON PREMISES" is NOT going to stop an armed criminal from coming in with a gun.
