What I like about EHX's chorus effects is their dark, watery sound.

I love the new label design.

@ChickenFaeces Technically, almost all analog (and digital) chorus effects (and many flangers) qualify as a 'delay' pedal. It just happens to be a delay for only a few milliseconds that changes.
This pedal, however, does have enough delay time to be used for some nice short slapback echoes.
I would not recommend using it for any type of delay other than that; it has a really short delay time max.

I own the older version, sounds kinda the same but looks a lot better

I'm getting that soon!!

@cesteacy Can do! Happen to got a unit back in my hands. I'm going to do a 2-part demo. We'll see how that goes.

@docSanchezFX The demo was pretty much all on the flange setting with the feed back set to zero. Perhaps a demonstration of the chorus, and if it still utilizes the delays (as with the old model) and basically just the ranges in depth and separately, speed in reference to the chorus, delay and flange tones.
I'm looking to buy one of these but idk if I should get the new one or the old one... i think this one is 9v which could get powered by my pedalboard but that the old one is 24v... also I personally think the older one looks way cooler and have read reviews saying it sounds better too... can anyone clarify? if they both perform the same and i can only power the new one with my board then i'll just get the new one but id just like to know... thanks

@xXSyDBiRdXx420 The old one will probably be noisier and at least a tad warmer sounding. The chorus/flangey sounds will be smoother/dampened to some slight degree. (This is going off of my experience with other old vs. new EHX pedals; I haven't played the original Polychorus)
In general, the sound should be pretty close.
