What depressed me was that the US based it's internment camp model off of what the Canadians did to their Japanese citizens. Canadians! They are suppose to be the nice guys...

thanks for choosing this one - not many people our age are even aware of this. my grantparents were in there. sad that in US history books only about a paragraph is dedicated to it - especially when you learn about the 442nd and what they also did to help the war effort.
