And yes, accidents have happened, and it's sad. But my old gelding fell and broke his neck just playing in the field. No amount of love and kindness can keep a horse 100% safe PERIOD. Accidents happen, and yet in 25 years there have only been 3 fatal accidents in NYC. That is an AMAZING record.

I wonder if you can get something passed to protect this business from hasslers. If you could prove that these people degrade the value of each carriage ride by hassling you and your customers, perhaps you can get someone high up to hear you out? One can hope.

Thanks for the memories...You have taken me back on a nostalgic journey when my dear friends came to see me (1972) and I took them for a ride through Central Park..It was just after Christmas. @felipobmx Which horses are you refering to? the Police Horses ? The Riding Stable Horses? The Mounted Ranger horses? We many horses here in NYC, most cities in the US and across the world have horses.
