The "disappointed" scene near the end of the movie. Fischer learns his father's true will plus the kick scene.
Edit (03/01/2011) : R.I.P. Pete Postlethwaite :(

  • The sad thing is that this incredibly emotional scene was fabricated in the dream world so he would have a positive emotional reaction, and thus be motivated to dissolve his father's company. In reality, his father was probably a huge dick.

  • The sad thing is this is all made up by Leo/Cobb. His dad WAS dissappointed in him. He did want his son to follow in his foot steps. Be a man much like himself.

  • @Xboxlove1 hmm so the wind mill was there because fischer wanted it to....what about his fathers dying words?

  • if Tarantino made this movie, inception would only be possible if Samuel L Jackson pointed the gun at Cillian Murphy and shouted 'Break up yo daddy's empire you white bitch' followed by a recitation of ezikiel:15

  • This scene was a bit anticlimactic for me.I think ti was just the father/son interaction wasn't strong enough.

  • nvm..i know now..found it in imdb..its THAT HE TRIED..lol

  • pls tell me what his father said.....I WAS DISSAPOINTED CAUSE _______.....

  • incredible movie !

  • One of Pete Postlethwaite last appearances in films. Ironically, he was dying of cancer while play the role of a dying man. Superb actor. RIP.

  • @SuperSparkyMark1 It was Fischers dream; he created everything from scratch. The other dreams before this one were used to make fischer feel like Browning was hiding something, and then they pretended to go to Brownings dream, but actually went to Fischer's. The last dream was created entirely by what Fischer percieved (Browning hiding something, difficult to figure out Browning [all the security]) etc. Fischer created the windmill because he wanted to find it in the safe.

  • @DaiNA9966 Lol. I´m sure this was not entirely your idea. :D
