@BGmostwanted The guy in this video is the all time leader in like 11 rushing categories so no disrespect but you're wrong. His senior season was something like 2,400 yards and 48 total td's he had like 3 or 4 300 yard rushing games thisdude was insane!

I find it hard to believe Newell kept letters from you guys. Most colleges sent them to the house or made personal contacts. the fact is BG players were good but not USC/Mich/ TX good. you are stupid to even think he would do that.

BGmostwanted is right Coach Newell and Coach Smith Made B.G football! Before them it was nothing and after them it has been nothing!! We Carried out the tradition kept the league championship! And yes coach Newell held us back from our dreams not giving us our collage letters!!

anything after 94 in BG football has been garbage...When we graduated we pushed that program all the way up to Division 3...Where u leyvas at now...Enough said...to his credit Newell built that program from the ground up only 2 c it get burried into obscurity....

Newell wanted to get opportunities to these athletes but they suffered from most BG players with a lack of esteem. Most of the players you mentioned were at best lower level division I NCAA players. If it wasnt for Newell and his discipline there would be no BG football. His only big mistake was allowing Easterbrook to coach robert Perez into the ground
