An update and information on the transition. Over 90% of the nation's TV stations are broadcasting in digital and recent surveys show consumer awareness over 90% as well. NAB and its partners will continue to promote the benefits of picture clarity, sound clarity and HD in its numerous mass ad campaigns as well as the grass roots efforts well underway. Jonathan reminds us of the 3 ways to ensure you will receive digital signals come February 17, 2009; 1) secure a TV set with a digital ATSC tuner; 2) secure a converter box (with a $40 DTV coupon); or 3) subscribe to a digital service provider such as satellite or digital cable.
