Toastmasters Humorous Speech Contest - 2009 Gold Medal, District 59 - John Zimmer

Speech Title: "A Way Out". This speech took 1st place at the District 59 Humorous Speech Contest in Hamburg, Germany on 21 November 2009. The contest took place in front of approximately 300 people, and featured the top speakers from Toastmasters clubs in 18 countries in Continental Europe.

This is probably some of the best fun that I have ever had on stage. The audience was terrific and I felt right at home. Big thanks to my daughter Kristen for pushing me to come up with an idea for the contest. Thanks also to Matt Viel, my Toastmasters buddy in the Netherlands, for taking the video.
